«Igor Tolstunov's Producer Company» has begun shooting the detective series «The Idealist» commissioned by the TV channel «NTV».
The screenwriter is Alexey Slapovsky, the project's director is Sergei Raevsky, and the lead role will be played by Sergei Puskepalis.
The story tells about investigator Gleb Fedorov, who has a unique ability – he can bring a suspect to a state when they themselves are ready to confess to what they have done. Fedorov solves the most complicated crimes, while simultaneously investigating the circumstances of the death of his friend, investigator Alexander Kurkov, and trying to solve personal problems – to win back his wife's love and understand what is happening to his 18-year-old daughter.
Filming of the series will take place in Moscow and Kaluga and will continue until August 31 of this year.
