Director of the film "The Monk and the Demon" Nikolay Dostal was awarded a prize at the "Vivat Russian Cinema!" festival

On May 17, the 25th «Vivat Russian Cinema!» festival concluded in St. Petersburg.

A ceremonial awards ceremony took place at the Youth Theatre on the Fontanka. Nikolay Dostal – director of the picture «The Monk and the Demon» – was awarded the prize for Best Directing. The chairman of the jury – People's Artist of Russia, director Vadim Abdrashitov – emphasized that «the prize fell into the hands of a true master».
