On January 27, the 15th awards ceremony of the National Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of Russia «Golden Eagle-2017» took place in Moscow.
The National Academy of Cinematic Arts of Russia presented awards to figures of cinema and television for the best professional works released in 2016.
The film «The Monk and the Demon» became the laureate of the award in the category «Best Screenplay». The award was presented to Yuri Arabov by screenwriter Alexander Adabashyan.
