From August 22 to 24 the Russian Short Film Festival «Koroche» is being held in Kaliningrad.
This year the opening film is Nigina Sayfullaeva's «Name Me», which recently won the Grand Prix at the «Baltic Debuts» film festival.
The choice of opening film is no coincidence — before her feature-length debut, Nigina Sayfullaeva had already won awards for her short film projects. «I Want to Be with You» was part of the competition programme at Kinotavr in 2010 and also received the prize for best fiction film at the «Kinoklik» festival. Another of the director's works, «Shipovnik», was honoured with the «Discovery of the Year» award in the «Best Actress» category and the prize for «Best Fiction Film» at the «Saint Anne» festival. «Shipovnik» also received a diploma from the Tarkovsky Award and a diploma from the International Film Festival «ArtoDocs».
At the «Koroche» festival «Name Me» will be presented by general producer Igor Tolstunov, director Nigina Sayfullaeva, make-up artist Elina Karakhanova and editor Vadim Krasnitsky.
