The only Russian film in the competition programme – director Nigina Sayfullaeva's feature debut «Name Me» – won the Grand Prix of the XI International Film Festival «Baltic Debuts», held from July 27 to August 2 in Svetlogorsk.
«Receiving the prize, I of course felt an incredible joy, pleasure and pride in my team! This is a very important moment — when you get a response to a film you have spent two years on. But most of all, for me this victory is a powerful incentive, motivation, a shift to the next gear,» comments the film's director Nigina Sayfullaeva.
Previously the film «Name Me» was honoured with a special jury diploma at the XXV Kinotavr Film Festival «For Light Breathing and Artistic Integrity».
